Release Notes
Update log for Wild Rift Pocket. New features, calculation tweaks, and UI updates are summarised per date. Newest entries appear first.
2026-06-24 — Patch 7.1h update
- Reflected Patch 7.1h (released 2026-06-24) balance changes in the patch updates page: Thresh / Nunu & Willump / Seraphine / Nautilus / Sona buffs, Gnar / Taliyah nerfs, Skarner adjustments, Chempunk Chainsword buff (Health 250 → 400), and a Quicksilver Enchant bug fix.
2026-06-17 — Scouter: on-hit build evaluation improved + matchup mode blocks picking the same champion on both sides
- On-hit bonus damage (the per-AA magic / physical / true damage that triggers on every basic attack) from Guinsoo's Rageblade, Terminus, Kraken Slayer, Blade of the Ruined King, Wit's End, and Nashor's Tooth is now reflected in the combat power score. The previous formula didn't include on-hit damage at all, which structurally under-rated on-hit-focused full builds (Guinsoo → Runaan → Kraken → BORK → Terminus etc.).
- Guinsoo's special interactions are now modeled: basic attacks lose their crit roll, Wrath bonus magic damage scales with crit chance, and Seething Strike's every-3rd-attack double on-hit is folded in. Crit-chance contribution is zeroed out when Guinsoo is equipped; that lost weight is re-allocated into the crit-scaled magic on-hit term. Exception: Caitlyn (Headshot 100% AD + 125% CRT) and Ashe (Frost Shot 10 + 100% CRT) carry passives whose damage uses crit chance as a scaling multiplier, so the crit term stays intact for them even with Guinsoo.
- In the Scouter's matchup mode, you can no longer pick the same champion as both your side and the opponent. The opponent picker hides whichever champion is currently set on your side (and vice versa when matchup is on). To compare different builds for the same champion, use the Slot 1 / 2 / 3 strip in solo mode.
2026-06-10 — Patch 7.1g update + new "Skarner" announcement card
- Reflected Patch 7.1g (released 2026-06-10) balance changes in the patch updates page: Aurora nerf, Zoe / Diana / Heimerdinger buffs, Infinity Edge / Black Cleaver buffs, Demolish adjustment, Chill Smite nerf, Red Brambleback adjustment, plus two bug fixes.
2026-06-07 — Share scouter builds on X
- Added "Share on X" and "Copy URL" buttons right below the scouter combat-power panel — post your build to X in one tap.
- A 1200×630 image is generated client-side at share time: champion splash + name on the left, item slots (6) with boots + enchant overlay, rune slots (5), and the combat power score in a dedicated LCD-yellow readout window on the right.
- The tweet body is pre-filled with champion name + my build + lane + 3-axis bar graph (Attack / Defense / Mobility) + combat power, plus hashtags (#WildRift #WildRiftBuild #wildrift) and the restore URL.
- The share URL encodes the build state (champion / level / 12 item slots / runes / spells). Recipients land in the Lab tab, slot 3 with the build pre-loaded — ready to inspect or edit in scouter without overwriting their own builds.
2026-06-05 — Per-rank numeric values added to champion skills
- Added a per-rank value table under every champion skill description across all 138 champions. Base damage, heal amounts, shield values, durations, slows, and more — you can see how each ability scales from rank 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 (ultimate: 1 / 2 / 3) at a glance.
2026-05-28 — Patch 7.1f update notes added
- Patch Updates (Ver.7) now includes Patch 7.1f with the latest champion adjustments and bug fixes. Use the "Latest patch only" filter to focus on the 7.1f deltas.
- Champions adjusted this patch: Kayle / Taliyah / Ambessa / K'Sante / Gragas / Viego / Akshan / Norra / Kog'Maw / Shen (10 total). No item, rune, or summoner spell changes in 7.1f.
2026-05-27 — More targeted AI research prompts (core / candidate split + active lane)
- The AI research prompt now separates your build into the core (in-game simultaneously-equipped) items and the stockpiled candidates you are still considering as swap-ins. Six core items plus extras no longer reads to the AI as one giant 7-12-item build — the core is framed as the real build, the candidates as future swaps, aligning with the in-game 6-item cap.
- The prompt now also pins your currently active lane (= the lane sub-tab you have open). Previously it shipped every lane the champion can play, so an AI asked to advise on a jungle build often blended advice for other lanes too. Now it explicitly tells the AI to evaluate from that specific lane's perspective.
2026-05-24 — Copy-paste a build-research prompt into Claude / ChatGPT / Gemini + refreshed starter templates
- You can now hand off a Wild Rift Pocket build-research prompt to any AI chat you already use — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. — by copy and paste. (Wild Rift Pocket itself does not run an AI; this just builds the text you paste into your own AI.) Tap "Research with AI" on the scouter to see a prepared prompt that includes your current champion plus the full build (items / runes / summoner spells, with effect text). The button is also available for the comparison build and the matchup opponent.
- The prompt also carries the current patch version, so the AI is less likely to fall back to stale-patch knowledge.
- Starter templates have been refreshed for every role. Runes now follow the in-game rule (secondary from a different path), and items lean toward universally useful picks rather than situational ones. Jungle templates auto-add Smite and support templates auto-add Relic Shield, so the lane essentials are never missing.
- The rune picker now restricts secondary runes to a different path than your primary, matching how the game gates the choice.
2026-05-23 — Scouter build slots expanded to 12, matching the in-game inventory
- The scouter's build slots are now 12, matching the in-game inventory. Boots and enchants share the same row as regular items, so you can stockpile components and swap them out as your build completes. A horizontal slider keeps all 12 slots in view.
- Items are auto-sorted into core vs. candidate. Completed items (or promoted components) feed the combat-power score even when you only have starter pieces equipped; once an upgrade lands, its components drop out of the score automatically so the same stats aren't double-counted.
- Items that can't stack in-game — anti-heal, Spellblade, Hydra, Tear-stack — now grey out at the picker once one is equipped. Boots and enchants are limited to one each; enchants require boots.
- Primary runes (slots 2–5) are now limited to the same path as slot 1, matching how the game gates rune selection.
- On phones in landscape, the top nav stops pinning, giving the scouter more vertical room. In matchup mode on landscape, self and opponent item rows now line up cleanly for side-by-side comparison.
2026-05-20 — Item mechanic tags expanded + scouter polish
- A big expansion to the item picker's mechanic tags: new tags for Shield reaver, Tenacity, AS slow, Immolate, Defense shred, Reveal, Cleave, Summon, and Sacrifice, plus a full review of every item's tagging to improve accuracy. The "Filter by effect" panel can now narrow candidates by more specific mechanics.
- Viewing an item's details from the picker no longer loses your scroll position when you close the detail view. When no champion is picked the build slots dim and tap-redirect you to the champion picker, so it's clear what to do first.
- A new ⓘ guide icon is pinned at the top of the scouter, so the Build Lab guide is always one tap away. When no champion is picked, Power ranking and Win-rate ranking links also appear under the picker — reference data for deciding who to play.
2026-05-19 — Win rate ranking polish + build-guide links
- The win rate ranking's Tencent rating can now be sorted high to low, and the page keeps your chosen view (win rate / Tencent rating) and sort order across reloads.
- Picking a champion in the scouter now shows links to specialist build-guide sites below the build slots — head there for champion-specific build detail.
2026-05-18 — Win rate ranking added
- Added a new win rate ranking page — champion win rates on the China server, with all four rank bands (Diamond and above through Challenger) shown side by side, plus a lane filter.
- The combat power ranking and the win rate ranking now link to each other from the top of each page.
2026-05-17 — Effect tags and filtering in the scouter
- The scouter's item / rune / spell pickers now show effect tags on every candidate — mechanics such as crit, on-hit effects, shields, and healing reduction are visible at a glance before you pick.
- Added "Filter by effect" — tick the effects you care about and the list narrows to candidates that carry all of them. Handy for finding items or runes that share a mechanic.
- Also tidied the picker layout and the equipped-item display.
2026-05-15 — New champion Taliyah + build type summary
- New champion Taliyah added — she shows up in the champion list, her own detail page (with ability videos), and the combat-power ranking, and is selectable in the scouter.
- The scouter's My-build and Comparison-build now carry a one-line Type summary that characterises the build you've assembled — its physical / magic / hybrid damage lean and where its weight sits across offense, durability, and mobility.
- Adjusted the display fonts on desktop so headings and body text sit together more consistently.
- Various smaller display and behaviour refinements.
2026-05-14 — Patch 7.1e item values reflected
- All item numbers refreshed to Patch 7.1e. The scouter's combat-power scoring and every item detail page now use the latest figures.
- Highlights (from the official patch notes): Randuin's Omen critical damage reduction 20% → 30%, Kraken Slayer max bonus damage 50% → 70%, Sundered Sky missing-health heal 5% → 6%.
- See Patch Updates (Ver. 7) with the "Latest patch only" filter on for the full per-entity list.
- Also aligned Navori Quickblades (passive consolidated into a single effect) and Trinity Force (Valor's kill-bonus movement speed removed) effect descriptions with the in-game spec.
2026-05-13 — Patch update digest + builds tied to each champion
- New Patch Updates (Ver. 7) page. Wild Rift Ver. 7 changes organized by champion / item / rune / summoner spell, all 13 minors from the season opener (7.0) through the latest 7.1e on one scroll.
- Each entry shows numeric / effect deltas only; thumbnail + name link straight to the entry's reference page. When the same champion or item moves across multiple minors, the rows merge into a single block with patch chips so you can read the whole history at a glance.
- "Latest patch only" filter narrows the tables to just the newest minor. The toggle state persists in the browser, so it's still there when you come back.
- A header banner on the top page links straight to the digest, and a permanent link sits under the site menu in the footer.
- My-build slots now belong to each champion. Pick the same champion again — even from a different lane — and the slots you built up earlier are right where you left them. Switching to a different champion swaps the slot strip to that champion's own three slots, so editing one champion's builds never wipes another's.
- The Comparison build follows each champion too. Each champion carries its own what-if loadout, so you can park parallel "main vs comparison" pairs across multiple champions and flip between them freely.
- The My-build and Comparison-build editors are now inert until a champion is picked, making the "pick first, then edit" flow clearer.
- Smite (jungle) and support-starter (support items[0]) auto-fills are gone. Because a champion's build data is now shared across every lane they're played in, lane-conditional auto-fills would have corrupted the same build seen from another lane — pick spells / items manually instead.
2026-05-10 — Multiple build slots + Enchanter uplift
- Multiple build slots: save up to 3 different build patterns per champion and switch between them. Slot tabs appear below the My-build and Comparison-build headers — tap to switch, long-press to rename or delete. New slots inherit the current champion so you can compare parallel patterns (enchanter / engage / poke) of the same champion side by side.
- Enchanter scoring uplift: Janna / Sona / Soraka / Nami / Lulu / Yuumi / Milio and similar heal-and-shield supports now score significantly higher in the combat-power formula. The healShieldPower weight was increased and editorial estimates were added or raised for Locket Enchant, Ardent Censer, Staff of Flowing Water, Redeeming, Knight's Vow, Radiant Virtue, Dawnshroud and others — closing the gap to burst-mage supports.
- Mage core items (Liandry's Torment, Luden's Echo, Horizon Focus) also received small editorial-estimate bumps.
2026-05-09 — Matchup mode
- Matchup mode: a "Start matchup" toggle on the scouter shows your champion + build alongside an opponent's, with combat-power scores (attack / defense / mobility) and a full stat-by-stat delta on one screen.
- The catalog "+ Try in Scouter" buttons can now route entries to My build / Comparison build / Opponent build.
- A new ↕ Swap button trades the My-build and Comparison-build loadouts wholesale.
- Modal + confirm-dialog refresh: pull-down-to-dismiss, smooth open/close animations, and a confirm dialog styled to match the rest of the site.
- Updated the Last Whisper effect text.
2026-05-08 — Catalog additions
- 4 new items: Sheen / Last Whisper / Psychic Projector / Bami's Cinder. 151 → 155 items.
- Catalog subtitles tightened across the new entries.
2026-05-07 — Items / runes / spells catalog + scouter linking
2026-05-06 — Scouter combat-power rebalance + tablet polish
- ステータスパネルの Δ 表示で、縦スタック時に列幅が揃わない問題
- Safari でのサイトタイトル位置ずれ
-
Scouter combat-power rebalance:
- Stack-type champions (12 total) now include an editorial mid–late-game stack estimate, marked with ★ on the Combat Power Ranking.
- Special scaling for selected champions (4th-shot missing-HP damage, crit-damage scaling, kill-time move-speed buffs, etc.).
- Coefficient rebalance: HP 0.4 → 0.5, armor / magic resist 12 → 18 — narrows the gap between tank and damage-dealer combat power.
- Tablet / mobile polish: tablet layout tuned, portrait orientation lock when added to the home screen, narrow-width slot row wrapping, and more.
-
Bug fixes:
- Stats panel: column-width drift in stacked-mobile mode where the Δ column auto-sized independently between halves.
- Safari site-title vertical centring.
