A Thorn Spitter with 30 - 240 (+22% - 50% AP) Health sprouts when Grasping Roots first hits an enemy champion. If no enemy champion is hit, a Thorn Spitter will sprout when Grasping Roots ends. Thorn Spitters automatically attack targets within 6 seconds of sprouting, dealing 10 - 108 (+15% AP) magic damage. An additional Thorn Spitter sprouts with every enemy champion, large monster, or epic monster Deadly Spines or Stranglethorns hits. Thorn Spitters deal an additional 23 - 65 damage against monsters. Thorn Spitters spawned after the first deal 50% damage against the same target. Enemy champions' abilities deal 35% damage against Thorn Spitters. Non-epic monsters deal 35% damage against Thorn Spitters.

Vines spread and burst into spines, dealing 60 / 115 / 170 / 225 (+60% AP) magic damage and sprouting 1 Thorn Spitter.

Nearby Thorn Spitters become enraged, resetting their duration and gaining 35% / 40% / 45% / 60% Health and 50% Attack Speed.

Zyra sends binding vines forward, rooting enemies hit for 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 seconds, and dealing 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 (+40% AP) magic damage. A Thorn Spitter spwans when the ability first hits an enemy champion or when it ends. (Large and epic monsters are also considered as champions.)

Zyra summons the fury of nature, growing a twisted thicket that deals 150 / 225 / 300 (+50% AP) magic damage to enemies. After 2 seconds, the vines snap upwards, knocking up enemies for 1 second. The Thorn Spitters within the thicket become enraged, resetting their duration and gaining 50% bonus Health and 50% bonus Attack Speed.
